ALFRED SALTER OPEN SPACE

Following widespread public consultation with nearby resident communities and with the local school and youth club, designs were undertaken to renovate the playground, which was in poor condition and unsafe for children to use. The newly-designed space now provides a quality area for the community, including a sports area for the local Tower Bridge Primary School. We organised the events and workshops with particular emphasis on the local children. Many inspirational ideas helped the design process evolve yet remain relevant to the community.
