BARTON HILL SCHOOL

A new integrated education centre with a children’s centre, pre-school nursery, infants’ school and junior school set on an existing school site. The local Barton Hill area of Bristol, part of an NDC (New Deal for Communities), is undergoing refurbishment and redevelopment. The community aspires to a landmark building and valued our close consultation with members of the school community. The foundation for the natural, ecological and sustainable design for the grounds came from the combined schools’ enthusiasm for gardening, ecology and wildlife.
