BERLIN FOREIGN OFFICE

A competition entry placed second, for new Foreign Office accommodation in Berlin, with Alsop and Störmer Architects and artist, Bruce McLean. A sculptural wall by Bruce McLean, provided a secure street frontage. Blue glazed water gardens (intended to be dry in winter) on the roofs of the offices formed a visual delight for the conference room and ambassador’s accommodation.
