POTTERS FIELD

A competition entry with Alsop and Störmer. The proposal for this sensitive site, adjacent to Tower Bridge in South London, was for a mixture of public and private housing. Taking inspiration from the sites, the landscape design was a contemporary interpretation of the Cherry Garden, the original location of which lay a little further east along the River Thames. Our modern Cherry Garden contained individual sculptural pavilions within fields of bulbs and wild-flower meadows.
