ST KATHERINE’S LIBRARY

The proposed St Katherine’s Library and new public square in Ledbury, Herfordshire is located in the heart of one of the finest black and white timbered market towns in the UK.

The site is historically sensitive and home to a number of significant historical buildings including a hospital built in the 13th century and the Masters House built in the 15th Century. Memories and traces of the gardens are reflected in an orchard, a herb walk and ornamental planting.

The scheme has been designed in accordance with the following principles; sustainability of design, inclusive design for all and historical sensitivity.
