WARSAW SCIENCE PARK
A masterplan for a technology and science park on the urban fringe of Warsaw. The climate of this part of Eastern Europe with its cold winters and warm summers, is favourable to trees, woodlands and hedges. The landscape concept was to develop the site using environmental design principles. The buildings were located within a revived habitat of natural woodland with balancing ponds for on-site drainage. Gardens were incorporated within native species hedges, to create quiet havens both for the workers and wildlife habitat.
