COE DESIGN JOB APPLICATION GUIDANCE
It would be greatly appreciated if you could read and follow the points below.
- When completing our application form can you please complete all sections in your own hand writing. Avoid completing the form using a word processor.
- Can you clearly identify the post you are applying for on the FRONT PAGE of the form.
- Please give full details of your education with the dates you started and finished, especially in relation to higher education.
- When including work in your portfolio it is very important for us to identify and consider your capabilities. Therefore, can you please ensure that you clearly label images where work shown is entirely yours or part of group work at university for instance, or worked on by you as part of a team effort while working for a practice. For instance if you were involved in preparing a photo shop render that was not entirely your own work but you estimate you completed half of it, mark the image 50%.
- If you are sending a PDF portfolio by email can you please try and avoid sending zipped portfolios. Keep the portfolio file size to below 10mb. We would like to be able to view your portfolio that contains quality images on a FULL SCREEN monitor, so don’t reduce the file size to an extent that it makes viewing a problem. You can send your portfolio in several e mails if you like clearly identifying & marking the emails 1of 2, 2 of 2, etc.
- If you have examples of your CAD work, include a few details, sections and elevations. Please make sure that the resolution of the image is good enough for us to read the text.
