A garden in Chalfont St Giles, for a family. The existing pretty brick detached house is in a village, and has a new contemporary glass extension for dining, study and an additional bedroom.

The garden was designed with shaped lawns with lush herbaceous borders. The lawns were spacious for the children and planted with wild flower plugs in groups.

A south facing dining terrace was created with vine covered shade pergola.

A contemporary contemplative formal shaded garden space was planted with box and ferns to provide views from the house and new extension.
