University of Portsmouth Masterplan - Portsmouth

Masterplanning within the historic part of a campus of disparate University buildings. A detailed study of the physical connections and pedestrian circulation, between existing University buildings and the streets in the locality. Urban design proposals create a coherent sequence of external spaces which draw together and connect up the public squares and streets in a legible manner. The local vernacular is used to present a recognisable signature throughout the area and to re-enforce and restate the importance of the nineteenth century streets and buildings.
